In order to adapt to the needs of emergency rescue, strengthen the coordination between the emergency organization groups, enhance the organization and command, rapid response and disposal ability to deal with unexpected accidents, on November 3, the Huizhou Petrochemical project department of Haijiang Group cooperated with the operation department of CNOOC Huizhou Petrochemical Company to carry out emergency drill for personnel injury.

The drill was for an accident in which a pipe fitting of the top steel structure suddenly fell and hit the leg of a construction worker at the site during the dismantling operation of the light hydrocarbon separation loading station. The on-site supervisor immediately went up to observe the injured person's injury and reported the site situation to the engineer department manager after finding the injury. At the same time, he called 119 to notify the company's fire department and medical team to arrive at the accident site.

After receiving the report, the manager immediately informed the departmental emergency team leader, quickly activated the emergency plan and evacuated the unrelated personnel. The injured were rescued and treated on site. A site command team was immediately set up to coordinate rescue forces to save the injured personnel from the accident site as soon as possible and to delineate the accident alert area. On-site emergency disposal was carried out in an orderly manner! After the basic rescue of the injured team members, the project personnel moved the injured to a safe and open place and waited for the arrival of rescue trucks and fire engines.

In this drill, all departments, in accordance with the policy of "constant preparedness, unified command, vigorous coordination", and in line with the principle of "drill for training", conscientiously implement the requirements of the relevant laws and regulations，such as the "Basic norms of production safety accident emergency drill", "Management measures for emergency plan of production safety accident".??The emergency management system was further improved to ensure the timely mobilization of the emergency rescue organization and targeted rescue measures. The whole exercise process is tense and orderly, the division of labor is clear. The participants cooperated tacitly and took proper measures. This activity enhanced the safety awareness of the project construction workers and protected the lives of the workers to the greatest extent.
